Keizer Area Rugs 101
Decor never mattered more in my life than when I came home for Christmas from my first semester of college.
My first 4 months of college were possibly some of the most intense, bizarre, and yet amazing couple of months of my life. I got to help build a roller coaster, meet my first girlfriend, run from security, ride in an ambulance for the first time, and so much more. Everything was also about as stressful as it was amazing, and at the end of my first semester, I was left with some severe feelings of disillusionment, mostly in that nothing in life really seemed as it should after all that I had done and had been through in those short 4 months. At the end of the semester, I got to go home for the holidays for a week or two when I’m looking for area rugs in Keizer.
As excited as I was to see my family and friends, it was only once I stepped foot into my house that I’d had felt back at home. Everything from the pictures on the wall to the rugs lining the floors to the familiar feel of the furniture makeup artifacts of my childhood and help in large make my house home. In this way, decor serves as a means of providing a connection to the past through this sense of continuity with the unchanging physical objects that adorn one’s house. In essence, it’s a big part of what makes a home feel like home.
