Digital Prints:
The Maryland State Archives' prints are made from high-resolution digital
images. Colors are carefully matched against original maps, documents, paintings
and works on paper to ensure accurate reproduction. These reproductions
are made in-house by our digital imaging specialists, using either the
Epson Stylus Photo 2200 printer or the Epson Stylus 9600 Ultrachrome large
format color printer which employ one of the most archival ink sets available.
The Archives no longer offers traditional photography services. We are able to make reproductions up to 44" wide and prints can be made to patrons' specifications on the following premium Epson papers: Matte; Glossy Photo Paper; Heavyweight Glossy Photo Paper; Premium Luster Paper; Somerset Velvet (100% cotton rag) Paper; canvas; and poster board.
